1998 was the year two brothers, Evan and Gregg Spiridellis had their lives changed forever by a piece of dancing dung. This is what started the brothers on their road to the brave new world of entertainment!
It was just a year later that saw the start of the now famous JibJab. It was tough at first as with many a new business but just a year later in 2000 saw their first big break. They came up with an amazing rap creation about the Declaration of Independence called the Founding Fathers which was a smash hit. This was instantly followed by a rap with George Bush and Al Gore for the 2000 presidential election. This caused an even bigger sensation and even appeared on CNN and ABC News to name just a few. Well that’s it, the two brothers understandably thought they were finally experiencing that sweet smell of success.
Then came the dot-com crash, but these two feisty brothers kept their spirits up and their dreams alive and kept chipping away at other projects. It took until 2004 and the new political battle between Bush and Kerry for them to make all their dreams come true. They had had great success 4 years earlier with the campaign in 2000 and when you are good at something you should always try and build on that, which is exactly what these two inspiring bothers did. They created Jibjab this land and have never looked back!
