I’m sometimes asked how I got started with PromotionCodez.com, so here’s the story so far….
Who am I?
I’m a shopaholic woman in her late thirties who has never wanted to pay more than I needed to for an item. It’s not that I’ve ever been a miser, it’s more a case of - Why pay more than I need to, for something I want? Since the recession hit, this has been an even bigger prority for me.
The fact is, no matter how much money you have saved (or not), how much you earn or whatever your budget is for those little luxuries, there has never been a greater time than now, to start making sure you’ve got the best price for everything you buy.
Online shopping or Mall shopping?
I have always been an avid online shopper. I find it much more pleasant to sit at my desk or to be sat in a chair with a laptop on my knee to do my shopping, rather than dragging myself around the shops, usually in crowds, in rain and forever in a rush.
Plus the internet makes it easier to compare prices, which is difficult and time consuming to do in a shopping mall. I’ve certainly found its the best way to do my shopping and to get that all important bargain in the relative calm of my home (or at my office desk-shhh!)
Promotion codes – the online shopper’s friend
Comparing prices online has saved me a lot of money over the years compared with mall shopping. However, the recent increase of online shopping promotion codes, has meant I’ve been able to save even more. I started actively searching for coupon codes a couple of years ago and as I found a really good promotion code I would email my family and friends with it.
However, the more promotion codes I found, the more difficult it became to keep my friends and family updated. So I decided to create a website where I could announce the promotion codes I found, not only for friends and family but for everyone who likes a bargain!
I do hope that all my visitors to this site, whether old friends or new, find it of some use. I would love to think that everyone who visits, manages to save some money on whatever they are buying.
